It has to do with nicknames. A girl that address you by a name that is longer than it should be, likes you. For example if your name is Dom and she calls you Dominic or sometimes they will call in the middle name like “Ryan Patrick, you are a brat!”. This un-needed extension of your name is a dead crush give away.

If they do the full name like “Ryan Patrick Purtill” they want to do awful things with you or (very important) is your 3rd period English teacher and is upset. Note: In case of 3rd period teacher do not make a move yet!

For the ladies out there it is the exact opposite. We shorten your name if we like you. Chelsea becomes Chels, Molly becomes Mol..you get it?
